7 Summits Cancer Climb

About Us

The 7 Summits Cancer Climb was formed in 2005 by Martin Benning to advocate for cancer research and patient support.  Martin Benning is a three time cancer survivor who has set his sights on climbing the highest peak on each continent in the world.

North America - Denali (Mt. McKinley) 20,320 ft. (climbed in 2005)
Africa - Mt. Kilimanjaro 19,340 ft. (climbed in 2007)
South America - Mt. Aconcagua 22,841 ft. (climbed in 2008)
Europe - Mt. Elbrus 18,510 ft. (climbed in 2008)
Australia - Mt. Kosciuszko 7,310 ft. (climb in 2009)
Antarctica - Mt. Vinson 16,050 ft.
Asia - Mt. Everest 29,035

Through the 7SCC Martin and his team want to not only raise money for cancer research and support, but also bring cancer survivor awareness to as many people as possible and bring hope to those who are battling it right now as well.  The aspiration is that they can lead by example and get other cancer survivors to live their life to the fullest.  Thank you for supporting the 7 Summits Cancer Climb.
